A hidden gem of a beach, just near you
There are two types of beach-goers. There are those who like to party, and drink an awful lot, and there are those who like a more chilling vibe, away from the crowd, and the noise. Keating Beach is for the latter.
You can find Keating Beach at the north end of the Broadwalk. Sand is super clean, water is usually warm, and not that deep (less than 4ft deep,) and the ambience is quite relaxing.
Keating Beach has private parking, bike parking, and a small shack that sells hot dogs, ice cream, and other refreshments. It’s great for families and an ideal place for having a BBQ. Also, if you’re looking for something more romantic, where you can walk peacefully by the shore, Keating Beach won’t disappoint you.
Most popular days are Sundays, and peak hours are regularly from 9 am until 6 pm. Saturdays and Fridays are great days if you want to have the beach to yourself.
Visiting Keating Beach
Keating Beach also has a beachfront park with restrooms, kid’s slides, and benches. Also, unlike other beaches, it’s even safe at night, so don’t hesitate to stay a little more after the sunset.
Whether you’re on vacation or a local who hasn’t heard about Keating Beach, this is a lovely place you don’t want to miss.
And don’t forget your camera, Keating Beach is total eye candy.
