Bring the kids to Downtown Hollywood for a night of family fun at Funtastic Fridays. This weekly event at the ArtsPark at Young Circle in Downtown Hollywood features a rocking DJ spinning the tunes while kids kick-off their shoes and bounce the night away in inflatable bounce houses. Guided activities include games, arts and crafts and artistic face painting. Each Funtastic Friday is free and runs from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the ArtPark at Young Circle located at US-1 and Hollywood Boulevard.

ArtsPark Movie Night featuring “Hotel Transylvania” (PG)

Friday, October 20
At 8:00 p.m. let the kids wind down at the ArtsPark Movie Night. Spread out on the lawn and enjoy family-friendly movies that are projected onto the Amphitheater stage. Count Dracula’s plans go awry when a human crashes his daughter’s 118th birthday party and falls in love with her.

Downtown Hollywood ArtWalk

Saturday, October 21
Visit restaurants, galleries and shops in Downtown Hollywood while enjoying art, cultural entertainment, music and murals at the Downtown Hollywood ArtWalk on Saturday, October 21st from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. A Guided Mural Tour begins at 6:00 p.m. at the Visitor Center Information Booth at the corner of 20th Avenue & Hollywood Boulevard. Learn the stories behind the art and artists and watch the live mural painting by artist Fabio Onrack at 2050 Hollywood Boulevard. The Downtown Hollywood Artisan Market at Artwalk features pop-up shops, artist showcases, handmade items, local purveyors, vintage shopping & fun!

At 8:00 p.m. artist Daniel Pontet, accompanied by Jeff Lee of Resurrection Drums, entertains the crowds at 2020 Harrison Street with Impulse Art, a fusion of music and foot painting. For more information, please call the Hollywood Community Redevelopment Agency at 954.924.2980

Ed Talk is a public forum designed to engage the community in discussing educational strategies and advancing the District’s Strategic Plan. At Ed Talk you can engage with School Board Members, Superintendent Runcie and Senior District Leadership.
