Bring the kids to Downtown Hollywood for a night of family fun at Funtastic Fridays. This weekly event at the ArtsPark at Young Circle in Downtown Hollywood features a rocking DJ spinning the tunes while kids kick-off their shoes and bounce the night away in inflatable bounce houses. Guided activities include games, arts and crafts and artistic face painting. Each Funtastic Friday is free and runs from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the ArtPark at Young Circle located at US-1 and Hollywood Boulevard.

ArtsPark Movie Night featuring “Gremlins” (PG)
Friday, October 27

At 8:00 p.m. let the kids wind down at the ArtsPark Movie Night. Spread out on the lawn and enjoy family-friendly movies that are projected onto the Amphitheater stage. Friday’s feature is the 1984 film “Gremlins” which tells the story of a Christmas gift that comes with several warnings. After new owner Billy inadvertently breaks the rules of never exposing his new pet to bright light, water, or food after midnight, mayhem ensues.

Hollyweird Halloween 3
Saturday, October 28

Ghosts, goblins and kids of all ages are heading to Hollyweird Halloween 3 in Downtown Hollywood this Saturday night. Fun for the kids includes the interactive Trick Or Treat Street from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. with face painting, balloon twisting & live music by Carlos DJ Sonic. The kids costume contest runs from 7:00 – 8:00 p.m. with judging from Muzart Creative Studios.

The Hollyweird Halloween Block Party starts at 9:00 p.m. and runs until 2:00 a.m. Dress to impress for the costume contests with $10,000 in prizes up for grabs! Live music happening at The Greek Joint, Mickey Byrnes, Whiskey Tango and The Octopus Bar.

Broward Schools ED Talk
November 4

You are invited to attend the next Broward County Public Schools Ed Talk on Saturday, November 4th from 9:00 a.m. until noon at Hollywood Hills High School.

Ed Talk is a public forum designed to engage the community in discussing educational strategies and advancing the District’s Strategic Plan. At Ed Talk you can engage with School Board Members, Superintendent Runcie and Senior District Leadership.
